SAK has been subcontracted to construct all the civil works including steel structure works and roads construction in the 140MW Gaza Combined Cycle Power Plant, the works included but not limited to the following:

1.   Construction of reinforced concrete foundations for boilers, pipe racks, gas/ steam turbines, and fuel tanks farm area.

2.   Construction of three buildings: electrical and control building, administration building, security building, warehouse and maintenance building.

3.    Construction of cooling tower superstructure.

4.    Construction of new street lighting with there electrical cable network.

5.   Construction of pumping station of the sea shore for pumping water from the sea to the cooling tower at the power plant.

6.   Construction of concrete foundations and steel structure with steel roof sheeting for water treatment building, oil and chemical storage.

7.   Construction of a new sewage water distribution network.

Over 15,700 m³ of concrete were placed during the construction of the power plant project.
