Eastern Hebron Bulk Water Supply project is located near Hebron in the West
Bank. The project includes the construction of 2 potable water pump stations,
equipping 2 groundwater wells, the construction of one potable water reservoir,
and all work necessary to make the connections to transmission system to provide
a complete water supply system. Saqqa and Khoudary is the main subcontractor for American Intercontinental Constructors, (AIC, LLC) for all civil, mechanical and electrical works.
The project includes but not limited to the followings:
Major components for both wells include: 1) Submersible well pump (3.3KV). 2) Yard piping. 3) Electrical switch gear and control equipment. 4) Site facilities, improvements and general ancillaries. 5) Connection to power transmission system.
Booster 1 pumping station major components include:
1)
Three booster pumps each rated at 170 m3/hr @ 355 m total discharge head. 2) One 1500 m3 reinforced concrete balancing tank. 3) Yard piping 4) Chlorine equipment. 5) Electrical switch gear and control equipment. 6) Site facilities, improvements and general ancillaries. 7) Connection to power transmission system.
Booster 2 pumping station major components include:
1)
Two booster pumps each rated at 325 m3/hr @ 135 m total discharge head. One

Two booster pumps each rated at 325 m3/hr @ 80 m total discharge head. 3) One 5000m3 reinforced concrete balancing tank. 4) Yard piping. 5) Electrical switch gear and control equipment. 6) Site facilities, improvements and general ancillaries. 7) Connection to power transmission system.
Major components include:
1) 1000 m3 cylindrical reinforced concrete tank. 2) Yard piping and control equipment. 3) Site facilities, improvements and general ancillaries.
Construction of 11 km power transmission system (33KV), and parallel fiber optic communication system. Power Transmission Line major components include 1) Connection to Israeli Electric Company (IEC) metering point. 2) 11 km of high voltage power line (33KV), overhead and buried. 3) Facilities and general ancillaries. 4) Fiber optic system.
Installation of SCADA system and construct piping and control facilities for connections to existing reservoirs and other work necessary to start up water supply system. The major components include: 1) Install SCADA system. 2) Connection of piping and controls for two existing reservoirs: a) Halhul reservoir. b) East Yatta reservoir. 3) Connections to transmission piping. 4) System integration and testing.
